Install memory in pairs, beginning with CPU 0 DIMM 0 and DIMM 1. Two DIMMs of the same memory size, speed, and manufacturer form a pair. Memory is mapped globally and is accessible by either CPU in a dual CPU system. DDR400/PC3200 BIOS Restrictions: The maximum addressable memory per CPU is 6GB. Only two 2GB DIMMS per CPU are supported. Install 2GB DIMMS in DIMM 0 and DIMM 1, then install 1GB or 512GB DIMMs. Mixing DDR333/PC2700 and DDR400/PC3200 DIMMs is not supported. |
